Allston
Allston is a neighborhood in Boston that, along with neighboring Brighton, is a common place for Boston undergraduates to find housing. Since I lived in Brighton from 2008-2010, I dined frequently in Allston, which is full of cheap ethnic restaurants, many of them quite good. At the time of this writing (April 2012), I live across the river in Somerville, but I still return to Allston occasionally, particularly to see shows or play shows at some of the live music venues around town. On those occasions, I try to get to some of the restaurants I didn’t get to try when I was living nearby.
